Ingredients
Chicken Wings
- 2 lbs chicken wings (drums and flats), defrosted if frozen
Seasoning & Oil
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken Wings: If using whole wings, separate them into drumettes and flats. Ensure the wings are fully defrosted and then pat them completely dry with paper towels to help achieve a crispy texture when cooked.
- Season the Wings: Place the wings into a large bowl. Drizzle the olive oil evenly over the wings and toss well to coat every piece thoroughly. Add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper, then toss again until all the wings are fully seasoned.
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to preheat at 400°F (204°C) for 2 minutes to ensure even cooking and extra crispiness.
- Cook the Wings: Arrange the wings in a single layer inside the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching to allow hot air to circulate and crisp the skin evenly. Cook at 400°F for 10 minutes.
- Flip and Finish Cooking: Carefully open the air fryer and flip each wing over to promote even browning. Cook for an additional 8 minutes at 400°F until wings are crispy and cooked through.
- Serve: Remove the wings from the air fryer and serve hot. Enjoy as a delicious snack or appetizer!
Notes
- Make sure wings are completely dry before seasoning to get the crispiest results.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary for even cooking.
- You can adjust seasoning amounts based on desired flavor intensity.
- Cooking times may vary slightly depending on your air fryer model and wing size.
