A vibrant and refreshing best fruit salad featuring a colorful medley of fresh grapes, pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and kiwi, dressed with a zesty lime and honey dressing. Perfect for a healthy snack or a light dessert.

  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 10 servings

Ingredients

Fruits

  • 1 pound red grapes (or green grapes, about 3 cups)
  • 2 cups chopped fresh pineapple
  • 1 pound fresh strawberries (about 2 cups sliced)
  • 6 ounces fresh blueberries (about 1 cup)
  • 6 ounces fresh blackberries (about 1 ½ cups)
  • 3 kiwi (peeled and sliced)

Dressing

  • Zest of one lime
  • 1 ½ tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fruits: Wash and dry all fruits thoroughly. Peel, core, and chop the pineapple into bite-sized pieces. Slice the strawberries and peel and slice the kiwi. Combine all the prepared fruits—grapes, pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and kiwi—in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Make the dressing and toss: In a small bowl, whisk together the lime zest, lime juice, and honey until well combined. Pour this dressing over the mixed fruits in the large bowl. Gently toss the fruit and dressing together to ensure all pieces are lightly coated. Serve immediately or chill briefly before serving for a cooler option.

Notes

  • Use freshly picked or ripe fruits for the best flavor and texture.
  • This salad is best served fresh but can be refrigerated for up to 2 hours before serving.
  • Adjust the honey quantity to taste, especially if your fruits are very sweet.
  • For added crunch, sprinkle chopped nuts or seeds on top just before serving.
  • Make sure to wash fruits well to remove any residues or dirt.
