Ingredients
Burger Patties
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1/3 cup panko bread crumbs
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup Caesar dressing
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
Salad Topping and Sandwich Assembly
- 8 ounces chopped Caesar salad kit (includes romaine, dressing, croutons, and Parmesan)
- Cracked black pepper, to taste
- 4 brioche buns
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Small amount of cooking oil for skillet
Instructions
- Prepare the Burger Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, panko bread crumbs, grated Parmesan, Caesar dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Use a wooden spoon to mix everything thoroughly until well combined.
- Form Patties: Shape the mixture into 4 patties, ensuring they are slightly wider than the brioche buns for perfect coverage when cooked.
- Cook the Burgers: Heat a small amount of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken patties to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and the burgers are cooked through.
- Rest the Burgers: Transfer the cooked patties to a plate and set aside while you prepare the buns and salad topping.
- Prepare Salad Topping: While the burgers cook, add the chopped Caesar salad kit to a bowl. Toss the salad mix along with its included toppings and dressing, then season with cracked black pepper to taste.
- Prepare the Buns: Butter the insides of the brioche buns lightly to add flavor and aid browning.
- Toast the Buns: Using the same skillet where you cooked the burgers, place the buttered buns cut-side down and toast them until golden and slightly crisp.
- Assemble the Sandwiches: Place a cooked chicken burger on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Top each patty generously with the Caesar salad mix.
- Serve: Cover with the top bun and serve the Chicken Caesar Burgers immediately for the best taste and texture.
Notes
- Make sure the ground chicken patties reach an internal temperature of 165°F to ensure they are fully cooked and safe to eat.
- You can substitute the Caesar salad kit with homemade Caesar salad for a fresher option.
- For extra crispiness, consider adding a slice of crispy bacon or a tomato slice to the burgers.
- If preferred, use other types of buns such as whole wheat or sourdough.
- Leftover burgers can be refrigerated for up to 2 days and reheated gently in a skillet.
