Ingredients
Main Ingredients
- 10 ½ ounces milk chocolate (good quality)
- 3 ounces smooth peanut butter
Garnish
- 1 ½ ounces dry roasted peanuts
- 1 ½ ounces white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Chop: Roughly chop the milk chocolate and place it into a microwave-safe glass bowl to prepare for melting.
- Melt Chocolate: Microwave the chopped milk chocolate, stirring frequently to prevent burning. Microwave times will vary, so melt until smooth and fully melted.
- Add Peanut Butter: Stir the smooth peanut butter into the melted milk chocolate until well combined. Return the mixture to the microwave for another minute to ensure the peanut butter is fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Prepare to Pour: Transfer the warm chocolate and peanut butter mixture into a measuring cup or use a ladle for easier pouring into silicone cups arranged on a tray or dish.
- Fill Cups: Pour a small amount of the chocolate-peanut butter mixture into each silicone cup, adjusting the amount based on preference.
- Add Peanuts: Sprinkle dry roasted peanuts on top of each filled cup for a crunchy garnish.
- Melt White Chocolate: Melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave until smooth, stirring to avoid burning.
- Drizzle White Chocolate: Transfer the melted white chocolate to a piping bag fitted with a small decorating tip, then drizzle it over the peanuts on each bite. Alternatively, use a spoon for drizzling if a piping bag is not available.
- Set and Chill: Let the chocolate set at room temperature. To speed up the process, place the silicone cups in the refrigerator until firm.
Notes
- Use good quality milk and white chocolate for the best flavor and smooth texture.
- You can use either smooth or crunchy peanut butter depending on your texture preference.
- Silicone cups are ideal for easy removal of the bites, but mini paper cupcake liners can work as well.
- Adjust the amount of peanut butter and chocolate to change the richness and size of each bite.
- Storing these bites in the fridge helps maintain firmness but allow them to sit at room temperature briefly before eating for best texture.
