Ingredients
Liquid Base
- 1 cup almond milk or plant-based milk of choice (250 ml)
Fruits and Vegetables
- 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks (140 g)
- 1 frozen banana (120 g)
- 1 cup chopped fresh carrot (100 g, about 1 medium or 2 small carrots)
Flavoring and Protein
- 1 serving vegan vanilla protein powder (30 g)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Add Ingredients: Pour the almond milk into a high-speed blender. Then add frozen pineapple chunks, frozen banana, chopped carrots, vegan vanilla protein powder, and cinnamon.
- Blend Smooth: Start blending on low speed, then gradually increase the speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If the consistency is too thick, add up to 1/4 cup more almond milk to help blend and achieve your desired texture.
- Serve: Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately as a nutritious vegan breakfast or snack.
Notes
- Use frozen fruits to get a creamy, chilled smoothie without needing to add ice.
- You can substitute almond milk with any plant-based milk such as oat, soy, or coconut milk.
- Adjust the cinnamon quantity according to your taste preference for spice.
- If you don’t have vegan vanilla protein powder, you can substitute with another plant-based protein powder or omit it for a lower-protein smoothie.
